About Joanna - the Photographer behind Captured By Friday

Based  in Kāpiti, New Zealand, Joanna Piatek is an accomplished all-round photographer.
Born in Sweden, she lived there until she came to New Zealand as a young adult where she settled. Living in Kāpiti, she has a studio at Lindale Village and also travels with her photography which takes on work in both New Zealand and Sweden.
Joanna is a photographer and a journalist with the ability to tell a visual story. Your Story!
She provides on-site or in-studio photography services for personal as well as businesses use.
“Making people feel good and comfortable whilst working together is key for me – I love it when my clients tell me their session was a fun experience. It's a huge part of the delivery for me". 
Joanna produced a book in 2019, "Kapiti- A Portrait through Food", where she worked with local foodies in showing their wares - by photographing their work.
